View to Grindelwald and Grosse Scheidegg
Randonnée depuis Grindelwald le long de l'Eiger trail jusqu'à la gare de Kleine Scheidegg.
En quittant le train depuis Grindelwald le parcours descend jusqu'au lit de la rivière Schwarze Lütschine. La montée est ensuite raide jusqu'à la gare d'Alpingen. A partir de la gare le début de l'Eiger trail commence.

Leaving the train from Grindelwald, the route descends to the Schwarze Lütschine riverbed. It's then a steep climb to Alpingen station. From here, the Eiger Trail begins.
Eiger trail
L'Eiger trail longe l'Eiger proche du mur de la face nord. La paroi culmine à 3967m, 2000m au dessu de la piste. la face nord de l'Eiger est une voie d'Alpinisme tristment célèbre dans le monde de l'alpinisme. Le première ascension fut réalise seulement en 1938, plus de 70 personnes ont perdu la vie lors de tentatives d'ascension. De régulière chutes de pierres se font entendre causé par la fonte des glaciers vers le sommet.

The Eiger trail follows the Eiger near the north face wall. The wall culminates at 3967m, 2000m above the trail. The Eiger North Face is a famous mountaineering route. The first ascent was not made until 1938, and more than 70 people have lost their lives in attempts to climb it. Regular rockfalls are heard as the glaciers melt towards the summit.
Eigergletscher
Le sentier de l'Eiger se termine à la station Eigergletscher (glacier de l'Eiger). Cette gare est le point d'entrée du Jungfrauhauch, le plus long trajet en train d'Europe jusqu'au glacier de la Jungfrau. Depuis la gare, on peut admirer le lac Falbodensee et le pic Männlichen. De nombreux trains et téléphériques vous ramènent à Grindelwald et Lauterbrunnen.

The Eiger trail ends at the Eigergletscher (Eiger glacier) station. The station is the entry point to the Jungfrauhauch, Europe's longest train ride to the Jungfrau glacier. From the station, you can enjoy views of the Falbodensee lake and the Männlichen peak. Numerous train and cableway connections take you back to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen.
