Une randonnée facile depuis la télécabine. Certains des lacs sont secs à la fin de l'été, ils ne sont alimentés que par la fonte de la neige au printemps. Le plateau et ses chemins sont aménagés ne rendant pas très bucolique le parcours. Des lignes à haute tension reliant le canton de Bern et le Valais traversent le paysage.

An easy hike starting from the cabin station. Some of the lakes are dry by the end of summer, being only filled with melting snow. The plateau is very easy to walk but the area is not the wildest of Switzerland, it has been well "civilized" and electric lines are very visible.
Pour retourner à Kanderteg par les chemins, il faut suivre une longue descente dans une vallée encaissée. Certaines portions sont très raides mais bien protégées. En arrivant au bas de la vallée le chemin suit une rivière qui mène jusqu'à Kandersteg. Un pont, une route encaissée et une cascade terminent le parcours.

To return to Kandersteg there is a long downhill path, sometimes very steep but well secured. At the bottom of the mountain, the path follows the river up to an iconic bridge and tunnel. Just before Kandersteg there is a nice waterfall to conclude the hike.
